Luna Caputo

Luna “The Lionheart” Caputo departed this life on November 28, 2025 after an unexpected illness. Luna was born on October 27, 2020 and was quite literally the sunshine of her mom’s world after suffering the sudden loss of another beloved pet. Luna always knew how to make you smile and everyone who met her instantly fell in love. Some of Luna’s favorite things to do were to wrestle with her sister Callie and her feline companion Sylvia, play with her lamp chop, grinch, and big bird stuffed animals and take naps in a soft blanket in her mom’s lap. Luna’s greatest accomplishment was being featured with her sister Callie; as Pet of the Week with Ms. Lisa Hakamiun, her favorite online teacher. Luna leaves behind her earthly family members, Amanda, Mark, Ryan and Gracelyn Caputo, Mariah and Michael Coates; and her Nana, Linda Bland who cares for her blood half sister, Bella. Luna also leaves behind her canine sister, Callie and feline sisters Precious, Angel and her niece Sylvia Coates as well as her brothers and sisters who proceeded her to the Rainbow Bridge. Fly high our ray of sunshine. We love you! Until we meet again.
